WEEK 10 - BABY CARSON

Day 1

I am absolutely so excited for this realistic digital drawing of my friends baby. I started by figuring out what type of vibe I wanted for the drawing. I wanted it to look like a charcoal drawing and be in black and white. I then started graphing out proportions and decided to add his dads hand in there because I thought it would be sentimental. I worked on the nose, eyes, ear, and mouth for a very long time till I got them perfect. The nose and eyes were difficult to get right but turned out just the way I wanted them.

Day 2

I worked on the skin and clothing today and I really worked a long time on trying to get the rolls in his arm and hand right. I loved the way they turned out. In order to do his hair, I downloaded a new procreate brush that I actually used to draw thin fur. I chose this one because I wanted the hair to look super fine like newborn hair. I like that it all comes together from far away but when you look at it closely you can see all the small details
