WEEK 11 - EDEN GIRL

Day 1

Today I started a new drawing that is similar to to the style that I did on my drawing last week. It is another digital black and white drawing of my cousins daughter, Eden. I started out with the proportions and began working on the eyes, nose, and mouth. I worked on her eyes first and absolutely loved the way they turned out. They have so much depth and I wanted them to be the focal point. The nose and and the mouth came out good. So I started on the rest of the skin.

Day 2

I finished all of the skin and focused on getting the hair and flower right. The flower was a little bit of a struggle for me so it took me a while but turned out good. I loved the flyaways in her hair so I tried to depict them as best as I could and think that they look good. I liked the shadows and highlights that came through in her hair, especially right under her ear. I could probably put more detail in her shirt and arms but I think I like that they are not the focus.
